Carbonless copy paper is a type of paper that allows multiple copies to be made of a document without the use of carbon paper. It is made up of two or more sheets of paper with a layer of microcapsules containing a colorant and a developer between them. When pressure is applied to the top sheet, the microcapsules break open, releasing the colorant, which then reacts with the developer on the bottom sheet to create a copy.
